The meeting will be held at "Haus der Kirche" (the Church House), a hotel and conference center run by the Protestant Academy Baden, immersed in the northern Black Forest area and located in the holiday resort and thermal bath village Bad Herrenalb

The town of Bad Herrenalb (with its hamlets Bernbach, Rotensol and Neusatz), grown around a Cistercian monastery founded in 1148, is a Black Forest spa village located just 30km south of Karlsruhe. Since 1954 Herrenalb is officially known as a “health resort.” In 1971 a 600 meter deep well was drilled into a mineral-rich water source. With the exploitation of this source, Herrenalb officially appended the word “Bad” (German for bath) to its name. The town is immersed in a quiet valley in the northern Black Forest and surrounded by seven hills of heights beween 500m and 700m. This makes of Bad Herrenalb an ideal spot for hiking, bathing and relaxing in a beautiful natural environment, which still attracts people of all surrounding cities during the sunnier part of the year. The elegant and cozy thermal baths "Siebentäler Therme" (seven-hills thermal baths), open 1PM until 10PM during weekdays, are a great chance to unwind.

"Haus der Kirche" will not only serve as conference venue but will be the accommodation for all the attendees and accompanying people at the conference, offering a common social space, which will prompt personal and professional interaction among the attendees. Room and board, encompassing breakfast, meals and coffee breaks, will be included in the meeting attendance fee.
