The easiest solution is to reach Karlsruhe by train and from Karlsruhe main station take a tram to Bad Herrenalb. For regional and long distance train visit the website of the German railway. The regional tram connection S1 (direction Bad Herrenalb) departs from the platform D of the Karlsruhe main station (Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof) forecourt and runs from every 30 minutes to every hour from early morning until night. The train trip takes 30', the fare (as of April 2018) is 4,90€ and your destination is the last stop: Bad Herrenalb. Those flying to Germany will probably choose to fly to:
- Frankfurt International Airport. This airport has a long-distance train station (Frankfurt Flughafen Fernbahnhof). Traffic jams are to be expected in the Frankfurt and Stuttgart neighborhoods.
